Human Rights Watch said on Wednesday that Libya will not be able to hold fair elections at the moment, adding that the election phase requires the right atmosphere to ensure that it is conducted in conditions of transparency and credibility.
The human rights group explained that the role of the United Nations is to help Libya reach that stage so as to have a healthy election and they should urge all competing authorities in the country to provide the necessary climate for fair elections this year.
