The health ministry of the interim government in east Libya has issued an urgent call to save lives of hundreds of sick children with heart diseases and tumors.

The ministry warned on Wednesday that the sick children face imminent risk of death due to lack of equipment and medicines and its inability to obtain foreign currency liquidity for the concerned authorities to treat them abroad.
