The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed that it has provided food and aid to around 3,000 families from the city of Murzuq in six different cities.

"The assistance to Muzruq IDPs comes in response to humanitarian needs, after the clashes that took place over the past weeks," the ICRC media office clarified on Facebook.

The aid includes basic household needs to around 250 displaced families, medical materials to treat more than 150 wounded and about 3,000 other patients with different medical conditions, in addition to setting up medical facilities to provide services for victims of violence, according to the ICRC.
