The Indian Foreign Ministry has announced a travel ban to Libya on its citizens, confirming that it has informed the immigration authorities in the country to take the necessary procedures to put this decision in effect.

The Indian Foreign Ministry explained that due to the current security status quo in Libya as well as the security threats as well as risks that the Indian nationals in Libya are facing, the government decided to slam a travel ban on its citizens regardless of the reasons behind it.
