The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations, Omar Katti, received, on Wednesday, the Indian Ambassador to Libya, Ngulkham Jathom Gangte.

Katti said they discussed the possibility for the Indian diplomatic mission currently operating from Tunisia, to return to function from Tripoli.

They also reviewed other issues of common concern, such as the return of Indian companies to Libya, and coordinated work within international organizations.

On his part, the Indian ambassador affirmed his country's support for the efforts of the Government of National Unity to hold elections as soon as possible and to promote stability in Libya.
