Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha has discussed with Turkish officials bilateral relations and activating the agreements and memorandums of understanding concluded between the two countries on the security side.

"Bashagha discussed during his visit to Turkey ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in the security and military aspect," the ministry's Information Office stated Monday.

The sources said that Bashagha arrived yesterday in Turkey at the head of a high-level security delegation that includes the commander of the Western Military Region, Osama Juwaili and commander of Tripoli Military Zone, Abdul Basset Marwan.
