Minister of Interior of the Presidential Council Fathi Pashagha stressed his government's interest and concern for the safety and security of all Korean citizens, companies and institutions on the Libyan territory.

Pashagha said during his meeting with the Korean Deputy Foreign Minister that the ministry attaches great importance to the issue of the kidnapped Korean engineer and is keen to cooperate with the relevant authorities to end this case and as soon as possible, calling on the Korean side to engage in fruitful cooperation in all areas, especially in the security field.

For his part, the Korean minister expressed his country's desire to cooperate with the Libyan side in all fields, including at the security level.
