The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of National Accord has started a training program for the personnel of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The Ministry stated in a statement that the training program was launched since the beginning of the week, including 120 personnel of the agency, and it is scheduled to continue until the end of this year.

It also clarified that the program includes training courses for administrators and operators of the immigrant data registration system, in preparation for creating a database for counting and managing immigrant affairs in shelters.

The program is part of a comprehensive plan to provide advanced and high-standards databases, which will raise the level of service for migrants and facilitate counting them, in addition to the assessment of their conditions, it added.
