The International Organization for Migration (IOM) confirmed the rescue and interception of about 246 migrants off the Libyan coast and their return to Libya during the period from 24 to 30 April.

In its latest update, the IOM indicated that on April 24, 231 migrants were returned to the Tripoli seaport, including 3 children, while about 15 migrants were disembarked at the Tobruk port on the same date.

It also confirmed the rescue of about 4,461 migrants since the beginning of this year, including 3,876 males and 126 females, and the death of 114 migrants, in addition to the loss of 436 migrants until the end of last April.
