Iran's ambassador to Libya, Ainullah Souri, confirmed in a meeting on Monday with the Libyan acting Foreign Minister Al-Taher Al-Baour that the Iranian Foreign Minister was discussing the desire to visit Libya to develop bilateral relations.
A statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Facebook page said that the meeting reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries, opportunities for joint cooperation in many fields, and ways to support and develop them to achieve common interests.
The statement explained that the two sides agreed on the importance of political consultation and working together to organize visits by senior officials from the two countries in the coming period. They also agreed to activate joint committees and coordinate to hold an exhibition for Iranian industries in Libya.
