The Iraqi Embassy in Libya has urged its citizens to reach out for assistance if needed, stating that it is closely monitoring the flooding in Sabha, south of Libya.
In a statement Sunday, the embassy said, "We are in close coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of Iraqi citizens," and added that it is in contact with several Iraqi families, wishing them safety.
The embassy also encouraged Iraqi citizens in Libya to contact them for help via the phone number it shared on its Facebook page.
