The Italian Embassy strongly condemned the ongoing attacks on civilian targets adjacent to Mitiga International Airport and other residential neighborhoods in Tripoli.
They remarked that these ruthless attacks cause pain and suffering to the civilian population and deprives them of their basic human rights.
On their twitter account they reiterated their support of sincere efforts toward dialogue led by the United Nations, to reach a peaceful solution in the interest of all Libyans.
