The Italian government has donated 60 modern agricultural machines to the Ministry of Local Governance of Libya’s Government of National Unity, aiming to support entrepreneurship in southern municipalities and boost the local economy.
The equipment includes tractors and harvesters, which will be managed through entrepreneurship offices, with a focus on building the capacities of local personnel as part of international cooperation efforts to achieve sustainable development.
A handover ceremony for the agricultural equipment was held with the participation of Minister of Local Government, Bader Al-Din Al-Toumi, Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, and several Libyan and Italian officials.
