Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, has discussed with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, developments in Libya and Ukraine, in addition to defense and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides are taking part in a two-day meeting for NATO's foreign ministers in Brussels, which kicked off on Wednesday.

Di Maio renewed his country's support for Libyan stability and the UN-led mediation efforts toward the elections.

A group of 30 foreign ministers representing the member states of the alliance are taking part in the meeting.
