Chief of the Judicial Police, Sabri Hadeya, has discussed with the resident representative of the United Nations Development Programme, the Deputy Ambassador of Italy to Libya, and the representative of the Dutch Embassy, cooperation aspects and development of relations between the agency and UNDP, as it is a major supporter of correctional and rehabilitation institutions.
The visiting delegation moved to the Correction and Rehabilitation Institution for Women for the purpose of inspecting the institution’s sewing workshop, which was supervised and supported by UNDP.
A special exhibition was held for inmates’ handicrafts and their production in order to train and rehabilitate them when they leave the institution at the end of their sentences.
