Justice Minister Halima Ibrahim chaired the inaugural coordination meeting of the International Working Group on Rule of Law and Justice Reform in Libya at the High Institute of Judiciary in Tripoli on Sunday.
The ministry stated that the group's objective is to align international support efforts in promoting the rule of law, justice, and law enforcement in Libya.
The coordination committee includes representatives from the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
Attendees also included a delegate from the Ministry of Interior and representatives from the embassies of Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the European Union Delegation in Libya.
