A source from Al-Khoms Port confirmed the reopening of the port partially on Thursday after a month of closure.

The source told the Libya Observer that the decision was adopted after intensive meetings between the security services in Khoms and the Centre for Food Control, to ensure the good functioning of the port.

Al-Khoms Port was closed at the end of last October, following the declaration of the Food and Drug Control Centre that the port is outside the control of the state authorities and regulators.
