The Deputy Chairman of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Ghaith Ali hosted the Deputy Director-General for African and Middle East Affairs of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the GECOL.

The meeting focused on setting the mechanism needed for completion of suspended projects, including West Tripoli, Gulf of Sirte and Zueitina power stations.

The Korean delegation also visited the site of the west Tripoli station in Janzur where a meeting was held with the project manager, the director of the station and a number of engineers.

According to the information office of GECOL, the delegation then toured the site of the project and was briefed on the equipment of the project, which was maintained by the security personnel assigned to protect it.
