The Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury, has discussed with the Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, views on how to take forward the political process in Libya.

The two parties agreed on the importance of international support to ensure Libya’s stability and prosperity, according to Koury X platform page.

On Wednesday, Koury presented her first briefing before the UN Security Council, after she held a series of meetings with various Libyan parties in recent weeks, following the former head of the Senegalese UN mission, Abdoulaye Bathily resignation in his last briefing before the Council on April 16.
