The Acting Head of the United Nations Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury has reaffirmed that UNSMIL will continue to be guided by the principles of the United Nations Charter as it works, with all Libyans, to achieve stability and sustainable prosperity for all in Libya.
"On UN Day, we reflect on the UN's crucial role in fostering peace and dialogue, and promoting human rights and development." Koury said in a post on her account on "X".
The UN played a pivotal part in Libya's journey to independence and remains committed to its unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, she added.
