The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Koury, has held a meeting in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, with the Emirati Minister of State, Khalifa bin Shaheen Al-Marar.
Both sides exchanged views on political, security and economic developments in Libya, stressing the urgent need to create favorable conditions to revitalize the political process and break the current stalemate.
Koury expressed her gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for its continued support for the efforts of UNSMIL, according to the UNSMIL Facebook page.
