The Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, reiterated Kuwait’s rejection of negative foreign interference in Libya’s internal affairs.
Al-Sabah’s remarks came during a meeting with President Mohamed Menfi of Libya’s Presidential Council (PC) on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.
In addition to bilateral ties, the parties discussed the political situation in Libya, focusing on enhancing security and peace in the country to achieve elections.
For his part, Menfi expressed his appreciation for Kuwait’s steadfast position on the Libyan issue and reaffirmed ongoing talks with all key parties to reach a solution leading to parliamentary and presidential elections.
