The Libyan Crime Watch (LCW) has welcomed the International Criminal Court’s issuance of international arrest warrants against six people accused of committing war crimes in Tarhuna.
The LCW called on the court's prosecutor's office to retract the decision to end investigations in Libya by the end of 2025, and demanded the issuance of arrest warrants against all those involved in war crimes and crimes against humanity in Libya.
The organization stressed the need for the Libyan authorities to cooperate with the International Criminal Court, arrest all wanted persons and hand them over to ensure their trial in accordance with international standards.
