A report by the French Le Monde website suggests that Russia is pursuing a strategic agenda to eradicate Western influence in six African countries, including Libya.
The publisher indicates that Moscow is leveraging its influence in the region, specifically in Libya, Central Africa, Sudan, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, to establish a novel entity named the "African Corps."
The objective of the new entity is to dissociate Moscow from the Wagner group and develop renewed influence in the region under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense, as per the same source.
