The Public Prosecution has ordered the imprisonment of a leader in the Al-Kaniyat militia on charges of killing 12 people from the city of Tarhuna.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office explained in a post on its Facebook page that the investigating authority ordered the imprisonment of another leader within the armed group that controlled the city of Tarhuna before 2020.
After investigations, the accused confessed to committing 12 murders after his involvement in that armed group in 2016.
