The leader of Al-Kaniyat militia group affiliated to warlord Haftar, Mohsen al-Kani, has threatened the people of Tripoli with war, saying he will fight Tripoli not only with Haftar but also with "the angel of death", as he put it.
In an audio recording on Facebook, Al-Kani also warned the city of Misrata of what he called "a war beyond their capacity".
Al-Kani admitted in the recording that he was present during the killing of Ahmed Al-Quweiri from Misrata, whose body was mutilated by Haftar's militias.
