Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, has held talks with China's Chargé d'Affaires, Lu Jian, to explore ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in employment, training, and professional development.

Discussions focused on accelerating the return of Chinese companies to Libya to resume key infrastructure projects. The talks also covered collaboration in modern technology and digital transformation to improve Libya’s labour market.

The two sides reviewed a draft memorandum of understanding on vocational training, employment, and labour mobility. Plans to activate a Libyan-Chinese vocational training centre in Benghazi were also discussed.
