Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abuhisa, met with Japan's Ambassador to Libya, Shimura Izuru, to discuss boosting collaboration between the two nations.
The discussions focused on training programs through Japan's JICA agency, advancing research centres, and inviting Japanese investments in Libya's energy, mining, and sustainability projects.
Ambassador Izuru expressed Japan's willingness to assist in technical and industrial development, including implementing the "Kaizen" system to enhance product quality and supporting local oil equipment manufacturing.
Both parties agreed to establish a joint technical committee to develop a framework for future cooperation.
