Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, has discussed with his Qatari counterpart strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of labour, training, and labour regulation.
This came during a meeting with the Qatari Minister of Labour, Ali Al-Marri, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Arab Labour Conference held in Cairo.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Labour, the two sides discussed mechanisms for activating previous agreements and expanding areas of partnership between the two countries.
They also emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise in the fields of inspection, occupational safety, and workers' housing, as well as ongoing coordination to support efforts to develop the labour market in both countries.
