The Director of the Interior Ministry's Office, Major General Abdelwahid Abdulsamad, met with Turkey’s security attaché in Tripoli on Monday to discuss strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides exchanged views on shared security concerns and discussed avenues for increased collaboration. The discussions emphasized the importance of joint efforts and ongoing coordination to tackle security challenges and enhance regional stability, according to a statement from Libya’s Ministry of Interior.
This meeting follows a visit by the Deputy Minister of Defence for the Government of National Unity, Abdulsalam Zoubi, to Turkey last Tuesday, where he held talks with the Turkish Defence Minister and the Chief of General Staff on military cooperation.
