Libya's Foreign Minister Al-Taher Al-Baour discussed with Moussa Faki, Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, the role of the African Union in advancing national reconciliation efforts in Libya.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, addressed several issues concerning African Union member states and ways to unify efforts and African solidarity.
Al-Baour reaffirmed the Government of National Unity's support for the peace and reconciliation process, working in cooperation with the Presidential Council and other relevant bodies.
