Libya has chaired the official preparatory meeting of the Economic Committee of the League of Arab States, concerned with preparation for the Arab Economic and Social Council.

The committee approved the items on the agenda to be discussed at the council’s regular session (108), due to be held next Thursday, at the level of Arab Ministers of Economy, Trade and Finance, according to a statement by the Ministry of Economy and Trade on its official Facebook page.

Libya was represented at the meeting by the Director of the Department of Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Economy, Ezzedine Mosaddeq.
