The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has held discussed with Chinese officials the reopening of the Chinese Embassy in Tripoli. 

Nouri Al-Kasah, head of the Asia and Australia Department at the ministry, met with Chinese chargé d'affaires Liu Jian to outline plans for resuming diplomatic operations in the Libyan capital.

The discussion comes as both nations strengthen ties following high-level visits from Libyan leaders, including the President of the Presidential Council and the Prime Minister. The ministry also urged Chinese companies to return to Libya and resume suspended projects.
