The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the attack on the residence of the UAE Ambassador in Khartoum, Sudan. It expressed deep concern over the incident, which resulted in significant damage to the building.
In a statement, the ministry described the attack as a grave violation of international law and an assault on the diplomatic premises, which are protected under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
The statement called for calm and urged both Sudan and the UAE to prioritize their mutual interests and avoid escalation.
The attack, reportedly carried out by a Sudanese military aircraft, occurred on Sunday, according to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
