The Government of National Unity (GNU) has strongly condemned Israel's closure of six UNRWA-run schools in the Gaza Strip, calling it a violation of international humanitarian law.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the move as a systematic assault on the right to education and a deliberate attack on UN institutions. The Ministry reiterated Libya’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people, emphasizing the fundamental right to education.
