The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has strongly condemned the car-ramming incident in Magdeburg, Germany, which claimed multiple lives and left over 200 injured.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry denounced all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their motives, expressing its solidarity with the German government and people. The Government of National Unity extended wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in the attack.

German authorities confirmed that the death toll from the incident at the Christmas market on Friday had risen to five. Reiner Haseloff, Prime Minister of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, described the attack as devastating for the local community.
