A joint meeting was held on Saturday between representatives of the Ministry of Health and United Nations medical and relief organizations to discuss providing support to the health sector in Libya.

The meeting was attended by officials from the planning, pharmacy and human resources departments of the Ministry of Health, and from the international side representatives of the International Rescue Committee, the International Organization for Migration and the International Medical Corps.

The two sides discussed the mechanisms and means of supporting international organizations to the health sector in Libya by providing medicines and equipment, supporting the shelters of migrants, running medical convoys and the maintenance of some health centers.
