The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tariq Al-Molla, has confirmed that the Egyptian oil sector is ready to contribute to the rehabilitation of oil and gas facilities in Libya in the framework of maintaining the strategic dimension of joint relations between the two countries.

Al-Molla made these comments during a meeting with the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sannallah on Tuesday.

A statement made by the NOC declared that the meeting dealt with discussions on the technical needs of the Libyan oil sector in which the companies affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum contribute to as projects for the rehabilitation of infrastructure of oil and gas networks, their maintenance as well as the construction of new reservoirs and technical services.

Technical training and specialized conferences and exhibitions were also discussed.
