Acting Health Minister/ Deputy Prime Minister, Ramadan Abu Janah, has met with the European Union’s Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the country’s healthcare sector.
During the talks, held at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Tripoli, Abu Janah welcomed the EU delegation, commending the ongoing partnership in supporting Libya’s medical infrastructure.
The discussions covered migrant health, public health initiatives, and efforts to enhance primary healthcare services. Both sides also explored ways to improve coordination between the EU mission and Libya’s health authorities, particularly in cross-border disease surveillance and epidemic prevention.
