Private sector companies from Libya and Indonesia signed multiple trade agreements in Jakarta on Friday, focusing on industries such as aviation, food products, paper, and stationery.
The agreements were inked during the "Expo Indonesia 2024" event, sponsored by the Indonesian Embassy in Libya.
Alaa Eldeen Deekna, Director of Quality and Compliance at Oya Airlines, announced the company’s memorandum of intent to lease four light aircraft, with an option to purchase. The aircraft are intended for domestic flights and oilfield services, as well as for training pilots and support staff.
It may be worth noting that the Indonesian chargé d'affaires, Dedi Rifai, invited Indonesian businesses to participate in the 2025 Tripoli International Fair to boost bilateral cooperation.
