Minister of Transport Mohamed Al-Shahoubi convened with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, at the former's office on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Tripoli International Airport terminal project and addressing obstacles to its completion despite the availability of necessary funding.
Al-Shahoubi emphasized the importance of adhering to a specified deadline for its completion as per the contract. He highlighted the project's significance in facilitating citizen travel and supporting air traffic between Libya and other countries.
Additionally, the discussion covered the Al-Badilah Road project from Al-Musayad to Ras Ajdir and its negotiation phases. The two sides agreed on the need for precise follow-up to meet execution requirements.
