Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Livestock in the Government of National Unity, Hussein Al-Qatrani, has discussed with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of Japan to Libya, Masaaki Amadera, aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture and livestock.

According to Hakomitna platform, the two sides discussed the possibility of technology transfer, capacity building, and agricultural investment opportunities available in Libya to attract foreign investors.

Prime Minister Abdul Hamed Dbeibah met with Japanese Ambassador Shimura Izuru last November to discuss the importance of cooperation in the fields of training and capacity building, with the aim of qualifying Libyan cadres and benefiting from leading Japanese expertise.
