Libya’s Minister of Social Affairs, Wafa Al-Kilani, has taken part in the opening of the 2025 Global Disability Summit, held in Berlin on April 2 and 3.
The summit, co-hosted by the governments of Germany and Jordan in partnership with the International Disability Alliance, brought together global leaders and officials to advance disability rights and inclusion worldwide.
The event focused on accelerating the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and promoting inclusive sustainable development.
In her address, Minister Al-Kilani reaffirmed Libya’s commitment to supporting the fundamental rights of persons with disabilities and aligning national policies with international standards.
