The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has signed Libya’s accession to two international agreements in a step to protect the state’s property abroad.
This came at the conclusion of the Libyan delegation’s participation in the 79th United Nations General Assembly, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Al-Baour signed Libya’s accession to the United Nations Convention on the Immunity of States and Their Property from Jurisdiction, and also to join the Convention on the Judicial Sale of Ships known as the Beijing Convention.
