The Stability Support Apparatus, affiliated with the Government of National Unity, has announced the deployment of patrols to secure areas along the Libyan-Tunisian border.
According to a statement on the apparatus's official Facebook page, its Nalut office has initiated intensive desert patrols as part of a broader plan to combat smuggling, curb illegal activities, and safeguard national sovereignty.
These patrols are reported to operate 24/7, relying on teams trained to navigate the rugged terrain and address the complex security challenges in the border regions.
The apparatus emphasized that the move comes in response to growing security concerns along the border, including increasing threats from illegal migration and smuggling activities.
