Libya Post has begun installing street address signs in the Hay Al-Andalus district of Tripoli as part of a nationwide plan to modernize the country’s postal system.

The first phase of the project will see 42,000 buildings assigned official addresses, the state postal company announced.

The initiative aims to streamline postal services, improve location accuracy, and enhance overall service quality for residents.

Authorities say the move is part of broader efforts to develop national infrastructure and facilitate more efficient public services.
