The Minister of Transport, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, has reviewed progress on the Airport Road development project as part of preparations for the reopening of Tripoli International Airport.

In a high-level meeting, Al-Shahoubi was joined by the head of the National Authority for Urban Planning, the leader of the executive team overseeing presidential initiatives and strategic projects, as well as officials from the Transportation Projects Implementation Agency.

The discussions focused on the Airport Road project, a key component of the first phase of the "Reconstruction of Tripoli" initiative, according to the Ministry of Transport.

Minister Al-Shahoubi stressed the urgency of completing the project to the highest technical standards, underlining the importance of strict adherence to approved quality and specifications as Libya moves closer to reopening the capital’s main international gateway.
