Libya has withdrawn from 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, Baku 2017, to be held in Azerbaijan from 12-22 May 2017, due to lack of funding.
Chairman of Libyan Olympic Committee Osman Ganain told Raed TV that the committee is facing a financial crisis, which could damage sports infrastructure in Libya. He indicated that they had contacted state officials for help, but there was no answer.
