The Agency for Support and Development of Therapeutic Services has signed an agreement with the International Medical Center in Cairo to transfer 10 children with muscular dystrophy to Egypt for treatment, starting next June.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Director of the International Medical Center in Cairo, and on the Libyan side, the head of the Agency for Support and Development of Therapeutic Services, Ahmed Salem, and the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak.

This step came on the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, who issued a decision last April to allocate 115 million dinars to the Agency for Support and Development of Therapeutic Services to cover the treatment of muscular dystrophy patients, Hakometna platform said on its Facebook page.
