Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour met with South Korean Ambassador Jang Jihak on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and efforts to enhance cooperation between the two nations.
Talks focused on strengthening economic, diplomatic, and cultural ties, as well as coordinating on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
A key topic of discussion was the reopening of South Korea’s embassy in Tripoli and ensuring a permanent diplomatic presence.
The move follows the resumption of consular services for Libyan citizens last year, which has helped boost economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
